From our Principal - Marie Todd
As we reach the end of another busy term, it's a wonderful opportunity to pause and reflect on all that has been achieved across our school.
|
Term 2 has been full of learning, growth, fun, challenges, and many moments worth celebrating. Every day I have the privilege of seeing our students embrace new opportunities, support one another, and continue to grow in confidence. None of this happens without the incredible people who make up our school community. Thank you to our dedicated staff, who continue to give so generously of their time, energy, and care for our children. Thank you also to our parents and whānau for the support and encouragement you provide.

As the holidays begin, I hope everyone enjoys the chance to slow the pace a little. Winter often encourages us to pause, spend quality time with family and friends, and simply enjoy being together. Whether you're heading away or staying close to home, I hope the next two weeks provide an opportunity to rest, recharge, and create some special memories.
|
When we return for Term 3, there will be plenty to look forward to. Alongside another term of rich learning experiences, we will begin consulting with our community as we shape the next strategic direction for Churchill Park School. I look forward to sharing this journey with you and hearing your aspirations for the future of our school.

Thank you for another wonderful term. I continue to feel incredibly proud of our students, grateful for the commitment of our staff, and appreciative of the support of our Churchill Park families. Together, we are creating a school where every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

Recycle Fair
Next term, on Wednesday 29th July, we will be holding our biennial recycle fair to raise money to support our two sponsored World Vision students, Fahim and Hiya, from Bangladesh.
|
We are actively seeking quality books, games, puzzles and toys to support this worthy cause. We will also have a bake sale and would appreciate baking on the day.
|
|
If you are having a clear out over the holidays, please consider donating items to this worthy cause. Please drop any donations to the office from now on.

School Payments
|
The School Donation remains at $525. Most parents will be entitled to claim a tax rebate - if you are a top tax rate payer a 33% reduction is available.
|
|
|
|
Please make school payments through your mykindo account. There are several methods to add funds to your account. Add regular topups if you'd like, then allocate to payments when you're ready, or just pay as you go. mykindo is also where you can order school lunches. Set up your kindo account.
|
|
NB: The school no longer has an EFTPOS terminal. All payments are to be made via kindo or DC, please. DC with your child's name to: 12-3027-0387931-000

Order school lunches through kindo to be delivered to Churchill Park School on Monday to Thursday. Check out your kindo account for suppliers and menus.
